The oil and gas at the bottom of the oil well are mainly transported to the surface by the oil pumping tube.
Cangzhou oil casing is the lifeline for maintaining the operation of oil wells. Due to different geological conditions, the stress state underground is complex, and the combined effects of tension, compression, bending, and torsion stress on the casing body pose high requirements for the quality of the casing itself. Once the casing itself is damaged for some reason, it may lead to a reduction in production or even scrapping of the entire well.
According to the strength of the steel itself, the casing can be divided into different steel grades, namely J55, K55, N80, L80, C90, T95, P110, Q125, V150, etc. The steel grade used varies depending on the well condition and depth. In corrosive environments, it is also required that the casing itself has corrosion resistance. In areas with complex geological conditions, it is also required that the casing has anti collapse performance.
Different types of casings used in oil extraction:
Surface oil casing: protects drilling from contamination by shallow water and gas layers, supports wellhead equipment, and maintains the weight of other layers of casing.
Technical oil casing: Separate the pressure at different levels to ensure normal flow of drilling fluid and protect production casing. Install anti burst devices, leak prevention devices, and tail pipes inside the drilling.
Oil casing: Exporting oil and natural gas from underground reservoirs. Used to protect drilling and separate drilling mud into layers. When producing oil casing, the outer diameter is usually 114.3 millimeters to 508 millimeters.
The types and packaging of petroleum casings in Cangzhou are divided into two types according to SY/T6194-96 "Petroleum casings": short threaded casings and their couplings, and long threaded casings and their couplings.
Anti corrosion measures for Cangzhou petroleum casing
1. Firstly, we must ensure that the water quality meets the standards, and strictly conduct water quality testing and management. Implement separate injection of clean and dirty water, strengthen the cleaning work of the main water pipeline, ensure that the water quality inside the station and at the bottom of the well meets the standard, and reduce the introduction of corrosion sources into the annular space;
2. For newly put into operation injection wells, adopt an annular protective fluid mainly for adding sterilization, and establish a system for regular addition;
3. Considering that mechanical abrasion accelerates the corrosion of petroleum casing, it is recommended to add a rubber ring to the tubing coupling or a stabilizer in severely deviated areas to avoid scratching the casing and contacting one side of the casing during operation and water injection;
4. To address the severe corrosion of bacteria under the scale and the slow growth and killing of SRB at high temperatures, it is recommended to regularly inject high-temperature water or steam at 100 degrees Celsius into the annulus to kill the SRB under the scale;
5. It is not recommended to promote the use of cathodic protection and coated casing until the corrosion inside the casing of the water injection well is effectively controlled.
